She has a tremendous memory and always remembers me (which leads me to think I have a bit of an LV problem - well other addicts receive sympathy so I should be no different). Firstly, Koulla is always the first to reach for the door and takes a real interest in each person who steps over the threshold. I would like the New Bond Street store to recognise (which I'm sure it does already) two fabulously wonderful ambassadors of their store. This is because the brand is dignified, the quality is outstanding (as is the customer service) and quite frankly I'm worth it. I am not a couture junkie, the only house I give my 100% patronage and loyalty to is that of Louis Vuitton. Whenever I've visited a Louis Vuitton store anywhere across the globe or here in the UK, I have been met with a smile and wonderful attentive service whether I have made a purchase or not. I just think they are all out to recant their own Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman moment. I do struggle with the reviewers whose intention is to demoralise the wonderful guys and gals who represent Louis Vuitton. They have your money from the original sale and they aren't remotely interested in listening to reason or treating each customer as an individual which is surely the whole point of buying into a very high end brand? I wont be buying anything ever from them again. There is a complete lack of care for the customer - you are treated as insignificant.
The whole problem is the lack of communication with the customer - no-one gave me the option (I would rather have no leather fob than one that makes my bag look fake). After much protesting in the shop I have left my bag with the manager who tells me that they have a process which will deepen the colour of the leather to try and make it match the colour of the rest of the bag. Oh and they don't return the original fob to you when you collect your bag - they take it upon themselves to send it back to Paris (for what reason? I cannot work this bit out at all!).
the bag now looks like a cheap fake that you buy in a market abroad. The leather zipper was replaced with a brand new one which is cream leather whilst all the other leather (handles, leather piping, leather tabs at each end of the zipper) are all original and have worn to a deep tan leather over the 7 years that I have had the bag. If this was a problem I would expect someone to call me to give me the option to go ahead with the repair or not. I specifically asked for the original leather fob to be used (not a new one). To say I was appalled at the repair of my own Monogram bag would be an understatement.

Both had broken zipper fobs which had come away from the main zip and were being repaired. Just returned from LV Bond Street after being told my two Speedy handbags (one is mine, one is my daughter's) were ready for collection.
